A new record temperature for the August bank holiday was set in Norfolk yesterday.

STATION GETS SIGNAL POWER BOOST

Park Radio has been given permission to increase its signal strength.

Ofcom, the radio regulator, has agreed to increases in power for both of the station’s transmitters in Diss and Harleston.  Final official approval is awaited for the change in the next few months.

It should improve reception in the station’s current broadcast area and hopefully widen coverage in South Norfolk and Mid Suffolk.
