MAYFLOWER FAMILIES INVITED

Descendants of a Harleston family are returning to the town to mark the 400th anniversary of the Mayflower pilgrimage to America.

DRIVER CAUGHT  SWERVING ACROSS THE ROAD

A motorist has been in court for driving erratically on the A143 between Diss and Bury St Edmunds on New Year’s Day.

He’s been banned from driving for four years and given a three-month suspended sentence, along with costs of over £220.  He received another suspended sentence for driving while disqualified.
