INTRUDERS ASSAULT MAN IN LATE NIGHT BURGLARY

Police are looking for three men after a late-night burglary in Harleston, when a man was assaulted.

The three burglers, carrying what’s thought to be a claw hammer, confronted a man inside a house in Bullfinch Drive.

They assaulted the man, in his 50s, causing injuries to his face…before stealing a games console and controllers.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened at about 3 AM on Friday June 15th.

They believe that the incident was targeted, rather than a random attack.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Norwich CID on 101 or ring Crimestoppers anonymously.
