Police say an inquiry is underway, but the death is not thought to be suspicious. A report will be sent to the coroner for a formal inquest in due course.
POLICE INQUIRY CONTINUES INTO CANNABIS FIND
An investigation is continuing after the discovery of a cannabis factory near Eye.
Police discovered cannabis plants, with a street value of £60,000, being grown in a unit on Liberator Way at the Brome industrial estate. It followed a fire which broke out at the unit late last week. No arrests have yet been made.
MAJOR NEW POULTRY PLANT BUILD RUNNING ON TIME
A new £75 million processing plant being built at Eye will start operating on time next year.
Cranswick says the build of the poultry processing facility has been completed on budget and commissioning is now underway. The plant is expected to provide jobs for about 900 people.
Meanwhile, the company says pretax profits rose by about 11 per cent to more than £47 million in the half-year to September, helped by a boost in exports, with a big demand from China for pork products.
